Mission's history
The Saint Gabriel Catholic Mission in Manassas Park was established by Bishop Michael Burbidge on September 3, 2017 during a Mass celebrated at the Manassas Park Community Center. The Mission is focused on serving the needs of Catholic within the legal boundaries of Manassas Park. The first Mass at the community center was celebrated on December 24th, 2010 and since then, many Spanish-speaking ministries, groups and services have been created to serve the initial needs of the community. The Mission has its own offices in Manassas Park and continues to celebrate Sunday Mass at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Mission: Called and sent by Jesus Christ to be missionary disciples in today’s society.
Vision: Disciples called by Christ to lived rooted in Him to be missionaries that communicate the Father’s mercy.
Description: We are a community of baptized members, called by Jesus Christ to be His disciples in Manassas Park who respond to the urgency to communicate the radical novelty of the Gospel which has captivated and renewed us thus making us part of the Church’s own mission lived as it is fit for our own vocations.
Prayer to St. Gabriel the Archangel
O blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do thou intercede for us at the throne of divine mercy in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers and patronage in heaven we may obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living. Amen.
